Virginia OSHA 10 Hour Construction Industry Training
This course is mandatory on construction sites in New York State, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Missouri and Nevada.
The OSHA Outreach Training Program is OSHA's primary way to train workers in the basics of occupational safety and health. The OSHA 10 Hour Outreach Training Programs were developed by the OSHA Training Institute with the intent to assist employers in training and introducing employees to the basic practices of identifying, reducing, eliminating and reporting hazards associated with their work.
Over the past three years, over 1.3 million students have received training through this program.
This course covers ten (10) hours of courses, required by the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA), that apply toward the 10-hour Construction Industry course completion card (OSHA 10 Hour Card).
This module is comprised of 12 sections, covering topics pertaining to regulations covered by Standard 29 CFR 1926. The successful completion of this course will help to meet the Construction Industry standards established by OSHA.
If you've been told that you need an OSHA 10 Hour Card, this is the course you need to take. Upon completion, you may print out your temporary certification immediately and you will receive your official Dept. of Labor OSHA Card by mail within 30 to 45 days.
You may take the course in segments or all at once. You must achieve a 70% or higher on the final test in order to receive your OSHA 10 hour card. In the event you don't pass the first time, you have two additional attempts at no charge!
This course is designed for construction workers, foremen, job supervisors and anyone involved in the construction industry. OSHA recommends the 10 Hour construction outreach Training as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1926.
Workers must receive additional training, when required by OSHA standards, on the specific hazards of the job.
Our OSHA 10 Hour Certification is fully accepted by OSHA and valid nationwide.

Time to Complete the Course:
Time to completion: Once you enroll in the OSHA 10 Hour Construction Outreach Training course you will have 6 months to successfully complete the course. If you do not complete the course in 6 months you will not receive a certificate for course completion.
Type of Course: Our New For 2009 course is an online, interactive program which can be taken at the student’s pace and convenience. It is available online 24/7 and will be an active, available program for six months from the date of registration.
Evaluation: This U.S. OSHA 10-Hr. Construction Industry Outreach program contains 10 topic modules, each with its own lessons. Each module includes lesson quizzes to test the student’s comprehension of the material just presented.
There is a final quiz at the end of each module which requires each student to attain at least 70% correct to progress to the next module. Upon conclusion of the entire program, each student will take a final quiz, with the same 70% minimum correct requirement. In the event the student does not pass the final test on the first try, each student will have two (2) additional attempts to pass the test at no additional charge.
At the time of completion, the student will be able to download and print a 360Training certificate indicating successful completion of the course, and for continuing education credit purposes. In addition, the student will receive their U.S. OSHA 10 Hour Construction Industry wallet card directly from the US department of labor in the mail.
